With no on field display of their talents this far, all these sales probably reflect are hype surrounding certain guys, market size, and team success level. With that, let's take an ole' gander at the Rookie jersey sales from the April draft until early August. 10. Zenel Tate - Jaguars - CB We think this has a lot to do with 1) the departure of superstar fan favorite corner Ramsey, and 2) Jags now old school jerseys are half off. 9. Tyus Tate- Redskins - HB 35 Fresh off their Super Bowl victory the Skins faithful now have a lightning fast RB to be excited about after the departure of long time back Keith Marshall. 8. Terrell Jameson - Cardinals - MLB It is rare that a defensive rookie starts to sell large numbers of jerseys before they even hit the field, usually the hype is around skill position guys. That shows you what they are already saying about Jameson's potential. 7. Tyronne Jones - Raiders - WR 85 This guy has been criticized for his ability to catch the ball in high traffic areas leading up to the draft, but Raider Nation isn't concerned. There is too much to like about this guy anyway and he is a bonafide #1 Wideout. 6. Javonte Johnson - Steelers - WR 10 The man set one of the fastest 40 times in XCFL History, you'll sell some jerseys on that alone. 5. Derron Driver - Falcons - QB 10 He is the heir apparent to Austin Joe, who had a tumultuous time in Atlanta. The fans are excited, fans are always excited for "franchise QBs". Some ATL area fans have started dubbing him "the 2nd coming of Micheal Vick", or "Vick Jr", which is really surprising (and a little concerning) considering his speed in the new Madden 24 is 77. 4. Zac McCants - Saints - QB 9 Zac is filling the shoes of Cam Newton. Saints have not been solid at the QB position since Drew Brees and the fans believe McCants, McCan. 3. Buck Conrad - Chargers - QB 4 Are you shocked that this Charger who entirely stole the show at the draft and was the center of all the pre draft hype checked in at #3? We are as well. You would think the savior of the franchise (hopefully), the man who inspired #SuckforBuck, the greatest QB Ole Miss has ever seen would surely be number 1. It's probably because the last time the Chargers drafted a QB from Ole Miss, he refused to play for them and went on to win 2 Super Bowls in New York. 2. Uche Sanders - Colts - HB 30 This man will be relied upon, even as a rookie. He replaces Marlon Mack, who fans were once excited about, but he only broke 1,000 yards one time. Everyone is ready to see the former Seminole hit the field as he should be one of the league's most exciting players this season. 1. Duncan Reiff - Broncos - QB 12 Broncos fans have not been this excited about their QB since Manning was slinging 5 TDs every game back in 2013. Now 10 years later, it has been a rough ride to get here, but fans believe it was all worth it now. Amazingly, the Georgia product already ranks #11 in franchise jersey sales, still behind Elway, Manning, and you probably guessed it... Tim Tebow. We will check back in midseason with regular sales numbers to see which bandwagon is filling up (looking at you Redskins "fans").
