The season is not going how head coach Kyle James envisioned coming off of the worst season of his career. The Bears who spent the first two years of James’ tenure on the bubble for the playoffs took a turn for the worst last season. That trend has continued into the current year as the Bears sit at 0-3 with star RB Jordan Howard on IR. With only one quarter of the season complete the Bears has no choice but to mortgage the future and try to win now. This week they traded for all pro LG Damond Hayes and up and coming RB Cesar Hoge. Both will fill voids on the current roster and while both are due large contracts the sentiment around the league is this was a good move for Chicago.
